Intercity Transit to Run Limited Service today, Feb. 12, starting at noon

Service to end early based on road conditions

Due to extremely treacherous road conditions that are anticipated to worsen, all morning Intercity Transit local and Express bus service is canceled until 12 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2019. In addition, Dial-A-Lift service will only provide pre-scheduled dialysis rides and all other rides will be canceled tomorrow. Village Vans service will not operate tomorrow.
Due to poor road conditions and anticipated worsening weather, all Intercity Transit services will end early tonight, Monday, Feb. 11, 2019. Local and Express bus service will end between 5:30 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. All routes will continue to be on their current detours unless conditions change.

Olympia, WA – Due to poor road conditions and anticipated worsening weather, many Intercity Transit routes continue to be on snow detours that will stay in place through tomorrow morning, Monday, Feb. 11. Standard snow detours are in place on the following routes:

The Community Advisory Committee meeting scheduled tomorrow, Monday, Feb. 11, is cancelled due to inclement weather. 

Due to poor road conditions, many Intercity Transit routes are on snow detour and most detours from yesterday are still in place today.

Olympia, WA – Intercity Transit will be closed on Christmas Day, Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2018 and New Year’s Day, Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2019. Local bus, Express, Dial-A-Lift, and Village Vans will not operate. Customer Service located in the Olympia Transit Center and the business office will also be closed.

The Community Advisory Committee meeting scheduled for Monday, December 17, 2018, has been canceled.
The Intercity Transit Authority is canceling the Wednesday, December 19, 2018, meeting. The next meeting of the Authority will be Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at 5:30 p.m.

Intercity Transit will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 22, 2018. Regular local bus, Express, Dial-A-Lift, and Village Vans will not operate. Customer Service located in the Olympia Transit Center and the business office will also be closed. We will operate on normal schedules Friday, Nov. 23, 2018.
The Intercity Transit Authority is canceling the Wednesday, November 21, 2018, meeting. The next meeting of the Authority will be Wednesday, December 5, 2018, at 5:30 p.m.
Intercity Transit operates on regular schedules on Veterans Day, Sunday, November 11, 2018. Customer Service, located in the Olympia Transit Center, will be open regular weekend hours, 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. on the holiday.

Intercity Transit will conduct a public hearing, Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2018, beginning at 5:30 p.m. to receive public comment on the 2019-2024 draft Strategic Plan.
The Intercity Transit Authority (Authority) seeks volunteer members for the CAC. The 20-member advisory group provides input to the Authority on public transportation issues such as service changes, strategic plans, the budget, fare structures, and other topics.
With school starting, more children are walking and biking to school. October is International Walk to School Month so drivers should use extra caution, especially when near children and schools.
Intercity Transit is accepting applications for surplus vanpool vans. Five 12-passenger vans and two seven-passenger vans are available for granting to qualifying non-profit organizations and agencies. Applications are due Friday, Nov. 16 by 4 p.m.
