NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING
On Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at approximately 4:30 p.m. the ITA will tour the Olympia Transit Center to view the newly installed Real Time Signage. They are expected to return to AdOps before 5:30 p.m. at which time the Special Meeting will begin.
The Intercity Transit Authority will conduct a special meeting starting at 5:30 p.m. in the boardroom of the Pattison Street facility located at 510 Pattison Street SE, Olympia, WA.

Transit is a free mobile app that helps riders easily navigate public transit in more than 1,200 cities in 40 countries around the world. Intercity Transit’s Dial-A-Lift, local and commuter bus service will operate regular weekend level service on Independence Day, Saturday, July 4. Customer Service at the Olympia Transit Center will be open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. to assist customers.

Every June, Washington state recognizes Ride Transit Month to affirm the benefits of public transportation in our communities. This year, Thurston Regional Planning Council (TRPC) and Intercity Transit are celebrating with the Ride the Rainbow sweepstakes.
At their May 20, 2026, meeting, the Intercity Transit Authority awarded retired vanpool vans to four organizations through a competitive application and review process. Now in its 23rd year, the Intercity Transit (IT) Van Grant program has awarded 88 former vanpool vehicles to community organizations serving Intercity Transit’s service area (Olympia, Lacey, Tumwater, Yelm, and their urban growth areas).
OLYMPIA, Wash. – Intercity Transit’s Dial-A-Lift, local and commuter bus service will operate on weekend schedules on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25. Customer Service will be open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. to assist customers. The administrative office will be closed, and Village Vans will not provide service on the holiday.
Intercity Transit invites the public to comment on transit projects identified in the annual update of the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) for the period 2027-2030. Identifying projects in the local agency TIP is a requirement for the agency to utilize Federal funding.
