Phase 1 of bus stop enhancements are scheduled for Nov. 3 through Nov. 21

Intercity Transit's contractor, Four Season Concrete, will be renovating 147 existing bus stops throughout our service area. Enhancements will include extended concrete pads, bulb outs, and enhanced bulb-outs at some locations.

Construction for phase 1 will begin Nov. 3, 2025 and is scheduled to be completed by Nov. 21, 2025. Construction hours will generally be between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Thirteen stops along Route 94 will be closed. Please see the table below for temporary stop locations for each closed stop.

Shuttle service in place Monday through Saturday for JBLM access from Oct. 28 to Jan. 28

Due to closure of Madigan Gate, a temporary stop will be in place from Oct. 28, 2025 to Jan. 28, 2026 for Pierce Transit Route 206 access to JBLM. Customers looking to travel to JBLM will need to walk from stop #1083 - Berkeley St. SW & Washington Ave. SW to the temporary stop placed by Pierce Transit. From there, a shuttle will be running Monday through Saturday to assist passengers travelling to the base.
