Intercity Transit is closely monitoring developments with respect to COVID-19 (coronavirus). The safety of our customers and our employees is our top priority and we are following the professional guidance of our public health officials. Preventing future cases requires all of us to do our part. 

Along with cleaning our buses nightly, we are researching additional cleaning protocols.

Intercity Transit Authority Notice of Public Hearing: Proposed Service Changes Effective March 22, 2020

Intercity Transit will conduct a public hearing Wednesday, January 15, 2020, beginning at 5:30 p.m. The hearing is to receive public comment on proposed Intercity Transit bus route and schedule changes. The hearing will take place at the administrative office of Intercity Transit, 526 Pattison Street SE, Olympia. 

Intercity Transit Authority to Consider Transitioning to Zero-Fare System

The Intercity Transit Authority (Authority) will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2019 to receive comments on a five-year, “zero-fare” demonstration project. The Authority will vote whether to implement the project on Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2019 at Intercity Transit’s administrative office located at 526 Pattison St. SE in Olympia. If passed the project will go into effect on Jan. 1, 2020.

Notice of Public Hearings: 2020 draft Budget, 2020-2025 Draft Strategic Plan and Proposed Fare Change

Intercity Transit will conduct three public hearings, Wednesday, November 20, 2019, beginning at 5:30 p.m. to receive public comments on the draft 2020 Budget, the 2020-2025 Strategic Plan, and proposed change to fares.  The hearings will take place at the administrative offices of Intercity Transit, 526 Pattison SE, Olympia, 98501.
