Northbound I-5 Ramp at Martin Way Temporarily Closed

Olympia, WA – On Thursday, Sep. 28 and Friday, Sept. 29, the northbound Interstate 5 (I-5) on-ramp at Martin Way, near College St., will be temporarily closed from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Traffic control measures and detours will be in place during the closures. The temporary closure is necessary for construction activity to be completed on the northbound I-5 on-ramp. The I-5 on-ramp is expected to reopen as soon as work is completed. Southbound access to Interstate 5 will not be impacted.

Motorists using Martin Way to access I-5 northbound are advised to use alternate routes during the temporary closure. Visit intercitytransit.com/Construction/MWPR-improvements for construction details.

Olympia Express riders (Route 620) may experience slight schedule delays due to trips being re-routed during the ramp closure. Riders should visit intercitytransit.com/rider-alerts for details.

Intercity Transit is constructing improvements at the Martin Way Park & Ride to improve bus access and provide faster service for Olympia Express riders.
