The draft Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) represents Intercity Transit's complete program of federally funded projects for 2020- 2023. They include projects also programmed through the Thurston Regional Planning Council (TRPC) and the Puget Sound Regional Council (PSRC). List of Projects The proposed TIP projects could total more than $97 million in combined federal and local funds for projects anticipated for the program period 2020- 2023. Intercity Transit has programmed the following projects for potential funding: Preventive maintenance of vehicles in IT’s fleet during the years 2020- 2023; Purchasing replacement vanpool vans that have been in service beyond their expected useful life; Providing bus stop enhancements including ADA improvements in partnership with local agencies; Continuing Youth Education Program(s) that fosters using transit, bicycling and walking as transportation modes; Pattison Maintenance, Operations & Administration Facility Expansion and Rehabilitation Construction; Purchasing of heavy duty coaches to replacement coaches that have been in service beyond their expected useful life and expansion coaches; Purchasing of Dial A Lift vehicles that have been in service beyond their expected useful life and expansion Dial A Lift; Martin Way Park & Ride Direct Access High Capacity Corridor Service or BRT “light” The draft TIP is available at online or by contacting Intercity Transit's business office at 360-705-5814.
