Intercity Transit will operate the current level of limited bus service on Independence Day, Saturday, July 4. As a reminder, service on most routes is running roughly every hour from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Route 94, with service to and from Yelm, is running approximately every 2 ½ hours. Effective Friday, June 26, a statewide order will require all Washington residents to wear a face covering in any public indoor space. This includes public transportation. All Intercity Transit passengers must wear a face covering that covers your nose and mouth while riding the bus. If you board the bus without a face covering, we’ll provide one for you.
Thurston County Emergency Management (TCEM) will be distributing close to 128,500 cloth masks to local organizations to aid in the distribution to local families and individuals that fall below the 200% federal poverty level.

Intercity Transit will resume scheduled bus service beginning June 21, 2020. Local bus service will follow normal routes with reduced schedules. Intercity Transit continues to respond to the developing COVID-19 crisis. Effective Monday, March 30, the agency will reduce services and operate on a weekend schedule in an effort to protect the health of our community, riders and front line employees.
Over the coming days, Intercity Transit will temporarily discontinue some routes and reduce service on others.
