No Transit Service Christmas Day and New Year’s Day
Service Ends Early Christmas Eve

OLYMPIA, Wash – Intercity Transit will be closed on Christmas Day, Thursday, Dec. 25, 2025, and New Year’s Day, Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026. Local bus, commuter routes, Dial-A-Lift, and Village Vans will not operate. Customer Service located in the Olympia Transit Center and the administrative office will also be closed.

The Dial-A-Lift reservation line will be closed, but customers can leave cancellation messages on Dial-A-Lift’s voicemail at 360-705-5827. Ride requests can be made via email to daldispatch@intercitytransit.com or by calling Dial-A-Lift at 360-705-5827 and leaving a voicemail.

Service Ends Early Christmas Eve

All local and Express bus service will end by 8 p.m. on Christmas Eve, Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2025. The last Dial-A-Lift pick up will be at 7:30 p.m. Customer Service will close at 5 p.m.

Village Vans Closures

In addition to being closed on Christmas and New Year’s Days, Village Vans will be closed on Friday, Dec. 26 , 2026 and Friday, Jan. 2, 2026.

Holiday Service Summary

Buses will operate on regular schedules on Friday, Dec. 26, 2025, and on Friday, Jan. 2, 2026.
