New bus route to serve Northeast Lacey coming March 22
Intercity Transit seeks your input on route options

Olympia, WA – Intercity Transit will launch a new route to expand service into the growing Northeast Lacey area. Route 65 – Hawks Prairie, is currently being planned with input from the community. The new route is scheduled to begin on March 22, 2020. Service will run weekdays and weekends, approximately every 30 minutes with about 30 trips in each direction and providing access to the many employers and new housing in the growing area. “One of our goals with this outreach is to hear from potential riders about the route options under final consideration,” says Rob LaFontaine, Planning Manager for Intercity Transit. “We want to hear from the public on the route concepts intended to connect riders to existing high frequency service along the Martin Way corridor, as well as the existing service provided by Route 62A.” This will offer access to the north and south sides of I-5, as well as routes serving the Lacey Transit Center.

You are invited to review the proposals and take a survey online; or, attend one of the upcoming open houses to learn about, and provide feedback on, the proposed route. Open houses will take place:
