Effective Friday, June 26, a statewide order will require all Washington residents to wear a face covering in any public indoor space. This includes public transportation. All Intercity Transit passengers must wear a face covering that covers your nose and mouth while riding the bus. If you board the bus without a face covering, we’ll provide one for you.

Masks are available at the Olympia and Lacey Transit Centers and we’ll soon have mask dispensers on all of our vehicles. Thurston County Emergency Management is distributing over 128,000 free cloth masks to local families and individuals who fall below 200 percent of the federal poverty level through local organizations. The statewide order also applies to outdoor spaces where people are unable to remain six feet apart. This may include bus stops and transit centers where passengers are waiting.
