Route 62B will be on detour this evening, Friday, April 19 from 7 p.m. until the end of service due to paving on Steilacoom Rd. Outbound Route 62B buses will end their trips at Martin Way and Galaxy Dr. where passengers will need to disembark to board a shuttle that will provide service to the affected stops listed below.

During the detour, the following stops served by outbound Route 62B, on Marvin Rd. and Steilacoom Rd., will be impacted:

  • Stop #536, Marvin Rd. at Martin Way [sb]
  • Stop #537, Marvin Rd. at 3rd Ave. [sb]
  • Stop #538, Marvin Rd. at Steilacoom Rd. [sb]
  • Stop #539, Steilacoom Rd. at Marvin Rd. [eb]
  • Stop #540, Rainier Vista MHP [eb]
  • Stop #541, Steilacoom Rd. at Pine Crest Dr. [eb]
  • Stop #542, Steilacoom Rd. at Fleming Way [eb]

All bays on north platform at Olympia Transit Center will be temporarily closed for construction starting April 1

Phase 3 of construction at the Olympia Transit Center is scheduled to start on Monday, April 1, 2024. During this construction phase, all bays on the north platform will be closed temporarily. 

Please board buses at the following temporary locations: 

  • Route 62B will depart from the east corner of Olympia Ave.
  • Routes 21, 60, 62A, 64 & 66 will depart from Franklin St. (see map for locations).
  • Routes 41 & 48 will depart from the west corner of State Ave.

This project will improve pedestrian safety, boarding accessibility and implement solutions to address mobility needs across OTC.

Outbound Route 60 will be on detour starting Monday, Dec. 18 until further notice due to continuing construction on Golf Club Road

Due to continuing construction on Golf Club Rd., outbound Route 60 will be on detour until further notice. Several stops will be missed.

Outbound Routes 12, 42 and 45 are on detour until further notice due to the closure of Olympia Ave.

Outbound Routes 12, 42 and 45 are on detour starting today, Oct. 23, until further notice due to the closure of the westbound lane of Olympia Ave. between Washington St. and Capitol Way. During the detour, stop #869, Columbia St. at State Ave. [sb], is closed.

Buses will detour as follows:

  • Routes 12 and 42 outbound: From OTC, left on Washington St., right on State Ave., left on Capitol Way, right on 5th Ave., where they'll continue on regular route.
  • Route 45 outbound: From OTC, left on Washington St., right on State Ave., right on Capitol Way, where they'll continue on regular route.

Please catch the bus on Capitol Way during the detour. See the map below for details.

Due to construction work to enhance multiple stops in southeast Lacey (Hawks Prairie), the stops below will be temporarily closed. For the duration of the construction work, please use alternate or temporary stops located adjacent to closed stops.
