Olympia Express Fares (between Olympia/Lacey and Lakewood/Tacoma)

These fares apply to the Olympia Express routes. The ORCA Card may also be used on Olympia Express Service. Scroll down for more information on ORCA.

Intercity Transit and Pierce Transit Tickets: You may use Intercity Transit or Pierce Transit tickets to ride Olympia Express service. You must pay the difference between the ticket value and the fare at the farebox.

PugetPass

The PugetPass is no longer available for sale to the general public. The ORCA Card has replaced the Puget Pass.

ORCA card

The new ORCA Card is now accepted on Intercity Transit's Olympia Express service, Routes 603 and 620. ORCA cannot be used on Intercity Transit local service.

To use ORCA on Intercity Transit's Olympia Express, riders must have a Monthly Pass value on their ORCA cards equal to or greater than the Olympia Express monthly pass price (see table below). Cards with only an "E-purse (electronic purse)" are currently not accepted.

Regional Reduced Fare Permit

Discounts for seniors, individuals with a disability and Medicare Card holders: If you are 65 or older, have a qualifying doctor-verified disability, or have a Medicare Card, you may ride for a discounted fare. You must show a valid Regional Reduced Fare Permit when paying a discounted fare.

Regional Reduced Fare Permit applications and permits are available at Customer Service or downloaded as a pdf here. All permits are $3. Please bring proof of age, S.S.I. disability award letter, VA paperwork with 40 percent or more disability, or a valid Medicare Card.
