What is the Bicycle Commuter Contest?

Intercity Transit’s Bicycle Commuter Contest (BCC encourages residents, students, and commuters of all ages and abilities to use bicycling for transportation.  The popular spring event rewards participants with prizes, valuable coupons, and recognition for their accomplishments.  The contest supports new bicycle commuters and provides a way for seasoned practical cyclists to show their colors and be counted. Anyone who lives or works in Thurston County can participate.

The BCC is a community event. We thank our sponsors and supporters, mostly local businesses, who contribute in-kind services, coupons, gift cards, and merchandise for prizes.  We also thank the many volunteers help with the pre- and post-BCC events.
