GET INVOLVED

Are you ready to change the world?  Become a Transit Ambassador!

Share some public transportation goodwill and become a Transit Ambassador.  Educate your peers on the benefits of riding the bus, get some great perks, and bask in the warm glow of making connections in your community and help the environment—get ready for superhero status!

There are lots of ways to be a Transit Ambassador, including:

  • Inviting Intercity Transit to give a Transportation Fair at your school
  • Telling your friends or family about riding the city bus
  • Taking a bus ride with friends, family, or a student group who are new to the bus
  • Doing your next school project on transportation
  • …or another activity you invent!

You don’t have to be a bus rider to participate—we provide all the materials and information you need.

If you would like to participate, or have your own idea about how to be a transit ambassador, contact our Smart Moves Youth Education Specialist, Erin Scheel at (360) 705-5839 or escheel@intercitytransit.com.
