Intercity Transit will operate on the Fourth of July holiday, Monday, July 4, but on a reduced level of service. The system’s local fixed-route, Olympia-Tacoma Express, and Dial-A-Lift bus service will operate on Sunday-level schedules. Intercity Transit Customer Service will be open 9 am to 7 pm for the holiday.
Sound Transit and Pierce Transit will also operate Sunday-level service on the Fourth of July holiday. Passengers traveling to Lakewood and Tacoma can catch Intercity Transit Route 620 to make connections to Pierce Transit local routes on the holiday. Grays Harbor Transit will operate on weekend-level service and Mason Transit is closed for the holiday.
In addition to the aforementioned services, Intercity Transit operates several specialized van transportation programs that will be affected by the holiday. Village Vans service will not operate on Monday, July 4. The Community Vans program will operate on an advance reservation basis.
