Intercity Transit will operate Sunday-level service on the Labor Day holiday Monday, September 6. Local fixed-route transit, Express bus and Dial-A-Lift service will operate with reduced service levels (instead of weekday levels). Dash, the free downtown Olympia shuttle, will not operate on Labor Day. Intercity Transit Customer Service will be open 9 am to 7 pm on the holiday.
Sound Transit and Pierce Transit will also operate Sunday-level service on Labor Day. Passengers traveling to Lakewood and Tacoma can catch Intercity Transit Route 620 to make connections to Pierce Transit local routes on the holiday. Grays Harbor Transit will operate on weekend-level service and Mason Transit is closed for the Labor Day holiday.
In addition to the aforementioned services, Intercity Transit operates several specialized van transportation programs that will be affected by the holidays. Village Vans service will not operate on Labor Day. The Community Van program, a program for group transportation, will operate on an advance reservation basis.
