Intercity Transit, the public transportation system for Thurston County, is participating in the national remembrance of 9-11 on the date’s tenth anniversary. This weekend, all Intercity Transit buses will display yellow ribbons with the words “We Remember.” Additionally, a system-wide announcement will be made on all buses in service this Sunday morning, September 11, at 10am, to be followed by a few moments of silence.

Intercity Transit joins many other organizations, public service agencies, and communities in observance this national tragedy.
